Ceramic Media

We filled an entire 15 gallon tank with this as the primary filter media for each 300 gallon bloodstock system.  A hand full of established "live" pieces would go into the hatching and grow out systems for ammonia control. Sterilize before putting them back into the bloodstock tanks.

Sponge Filters

We keep these running in the broodstock system to transfer to the fry tanks once bbs are introduced.  They provide great aeration and ammonia control in the GO tanks once they are established "live" bio filters.  The surface area is large enough that the fry will not get stuck to the sponges. Clean daily in waste saltwater.  Sterilize before adding back to broodstock system.

Over Flows

We drilled the top front of the tanks to install these bulkheads and overflows.

Air Stones

Use these to aerate eggs during hatching and fry/grow out tanks.

Airline Tubing

Nothing special here.

Air Flow Valves

Plastic.  Plastic.  Plastic.  DO NOT BUY METAL VALVES.  They will rust and seize up.
